Niijii Radio is seeking a motivated and community-driven individual to help lead project development, manage volunteers, and support cultural programming and broadcasts. This role works closely with artists, musicians, tribal entities, and AMPERS to carry out planned projects while maintaining timelines, budgets, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and complete assigned projects within scope and budget
• Help identify new project opportunities for community benefit
• Assist with live broadcasts, remote events, and production support
• Build partnerships with artists, musicians, schools, and tribal programs
• Recruit, organize, and manage volunteers
• Track and maintain project files, records, and documentation
• Assist with social media, website posts, outreach, and promotions
• Support events, fundraising, and pledge drives as needed
* Assist with backing up the Program Director
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with teamwork
• Experience with cultural, arts, or community-based work preferred
• Occasional evenings/weekends for events or broadcasts
• Valid driver’s license preferred
